First, awaken your taste buds with a garden-fresh bruschetta appetizer. Chef Michael from Devil’s Thumb Ranch will demonstrate how to make this quick, easy appetizer that can be replicated for your parties at home. The clean tastes of tomato, basil, mozzarella, red onion, balsamic vinegar, and crostini come together to usher in the freshness of the season. You’ll learn how to cut and seed a tomato, small dice an onion the restaurant way, and assemble this colorful appetizer. Take some home with you!
Next, you’ll savor a delicious entrée of Colorado lamb, arugula and grains, English peas, mint chimichurri, with a garlic blossom, while enjoying the wine tasting portion of this event. A presentation by a local wine purveyor will leave you with a knack for identifying complementary tastes and some new skills in wine and game pairings.
Finally, you’ll delve into dessert and experience the creaminess of buttermilk panna cotta, strawberry consomme, and candied rhubarb. Pastry Chef Taylor from Devil’s Thumb Ranch will show you how to create “fine dining at home” and share how this aromatic spring-time dessert is made. You will leave with a recipe to try at home.
